Dr Vicky Law
I grew up in Brisbane and completed my dental degree (Bachelor of Dental Science) at The University of Queensland in 1999. By then I worked in both private practices and Queensland Health dental clinics in Brisbane and Gold Coast prior further my training in Paediatric Dentistry.
I am a registered specialist paediatric dentist, having completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Dentistry, majoring in Paediatric Dentistry in 2002 and a Master of Dental Science in Paediatric Dentistry at The University of Queensland in 2005. I also gained my Fellowship to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
I started Chermside Paediatric Dental Care in 2007 and combined my clinical work with an appointment as a visiting specialist at The Dental School, The University of Queensland from 2006 to 2011, where I lectured and demonstrated to undergraduate students in Paediatric Dentistry subject. Also, I am invited to present in several local dental study clubs meetings. I regularly attend paediatric dental conferences and keep up to date with the current treatment philosophies and aim to provide scientific evidence based treatment options to my patients.
I am a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry (ANZSPD) and Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (AAPD).
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, as well as wider family and friends. I love travelling, yoga, cooking and piano playing.
Dr Victoria Kashchuk
In 2018 I joined the North Lakes and Chermside Paediatric Dental Clinic alongside Dr Vicky Law as a registered paediatric dental specialist. I completed the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry specialty training programme in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Otago in New Zealand and gained Membership to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Paediatric Dentistry.
As an active member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry (ANZSPD), Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Australian Dental Association (ADA), and the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD); I strongly believe in evidence-based dentistry and keeping up-to-date with the continually evolving advancements in Paediatric Dentistry.
My belief is that by making the dental experience fun and enjoyable for kids, it is possible to instil good lifelong oral healthcare habits. Small, early changes can often prevent bigger problems in the future, so I enjoy working with families to fully assess and provide tips as well as advice on all aspects of Paediatric Dentistry.
I am excited to be back in Brisbane and looks forward to re-discovering the city. She has missed the fantastic weather that only Queensland can offer. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her partner and family, travelling, swimming and playing tennis. She absolutely loves animals and cannot wait to spend more time with Hugo, the much-loved family dog.

Hello, I'm Katrina. At 19 I didn't know what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Funny thing it just came to me in a dream one night (true story). Setting out the next day, very excited to find about my new career. With no experience I was very fortunate to get a 3 hours Saturday morning job with a local general dentist. At 20+ years on and I am still very passionate and motivated to my career.
My position at Chermside & North Lakes Paediatric Dental Care is Practice Manager. As Practice Manager it is my position to oversee the smooth running of 2 very busy practices. I coordinate all treatments and appointments for both the clinic and General Anaesthetics. My empathy and enthusiasm toward our patients, parents and staff alike is crucial to our successful practice. I’ve had the honour to work here for near 10 years. I am very experienced in various dental fields and have worked in General Dental, Oral Surgery, Endodontic and School Dental Service. I have a Diploma in Practice Management, Radiography, Oral Health and Dental Assisting.
I took up running in 2018 and after finishing a few 5km charity runs I plan to complete a 10km run for Ronald McDonald house in June 2019. My husband and I have 2 children and we like to spend time at the beach and camping. A footy loving family we love to watch live games. We are planning our next trip to Singapore in 2020.
Hi, I'm Siobhan and I joined the team at Chermside & North Lakes Paediatrics in 2013 after completing my Certificate III in dental assisting.
I work full-time in each aspect of the clinic so sometimes you will see my smiling face at reception or also working hard in the clinic! In my spare time I love spending time outdoors with my Cavoodle, Ralph.
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing our long term patients returning confidently with beautiful smiles!
Hello I’m Nicci. I bring over 20 years’ experience in the dental field. I have worked most of my career in general dentistry and joined Chermside & North Lakes Paediatric in 2017. A specialist practice is very much different to general and I have learned so much about children oral health. I have 2 children, married and always lived most of my life in the Moreton Bay area. I love spending time with my family and going camping and 4wd nothing beats fresh air and an open fire. Look forward to seeing you all.
Hi, My name is Holly. I was first introduced to dental assisting back in 1997 when I completed two weeks work experience and fell in love with the industry. Many years later I made the move from working general dental and of recent to Paediatrics, I couldn’t be happier. Who would have thought kids teeth are so different to adult. Also no we don’t have little chairs and little mirror ( we all thought this) Outside of dentistry I love to keep fit and active, I have a competitive nature and compete in female bodybuilding divisions. I am also a volunteer life guard and spend most of my weekends at the beach with my two wonderful children. I enjoy mountain climbing, movies and love my food. Most of all I love smiling and making those around me smile. Look out for me and say Hi
Hi, my name is Kristy, having spent the past 20 years in general dentistry, I am proud to be part of this amazing team as one of the front office co-ordinators. Completing my cert 3 many years ago, I enjoy keeping up to date with dental courses. I am passionate about providing excellent customer service and working together as a team to deliver this to our patients big and small with quality dental care.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband, 2 beautiful children and 2 fur babies. We enjoy camping, going to the beach, photography and travelling overseas.
